HealthStream Medicare implemented the Mission Nine Zero campaign to address the dangers of alcohol consumption during pregnancy across Rivers, Abia, and Oyo States. The program directly trained over 220 health workers (CHEWs, CHOs, and Nurses), 150 traditional birth attendants (TBAs), and 300 pregnant women, who in turn reached out to their peers within their communities. The campaign utilized stakeholder engagement, community awareness sessions, radio jingles, and social media messaging to promote alcohol-free pregnancies and improve maternal health outcomes.
